Hillary’s Fact Hub: Hillary Leads Popular Vote

By Big Blue

This is riding the top of her page right now.  It’s not just that to get these results they have to include Florida and Michigan (and including Michigan is just ridiculously dishonest); they also have to exclude IA, NV, ME and WA.  If Hillary can get the popular vote lead after including the caucus states and Florida (but not Michigan), then that will be her best case.  The problem is under that scenario she’s down by about 409,000 votes with Kentucky being the last state where she can make real gains, and Oregon set to completely obliterate any gains she makes there.

I’m surprised ABC would actually report these numbers.  I guess I’m not so surprised that Clinton would use them.  That said, it does seem like her campaign is gearing down.  It seems like it’s been awhile since they’ve attacked Obama in the kind of heated way they were a month ago.  But I still find the intellectual dishonesty of their claim a little bothersome.  Especially given that it’s likely to persuade some of her supporters to the illegitimacy of an Obama victory.
